Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally called Andra day, is an American R&B singer-songwriter. She has won an Grammy Award and Children's and Family Emmy Award. Golden Globe Award and Academy Award nominations are also some of her awards. Andra Day is an extremely skilled and powerful performer. It's not like she's the throwback R&B expert, but her background in gospel jazz and the blues are evident and translates into contemporary music. Cheers to the fall (2015) her auspicious debut cracked the Top Ten of the R&B/hip-hop and set the stage for some Grammy nominations as well as one Academy Award nomination with Stand Up for Something (2017) her performance on the soundtrack of Marshall getting both honors. Motown famous Adrian Gurvitz was introduced to Day by the Motown legend. Day's YouTube fan base grew rapidly after she teamed up with Gurvitz, Jeffrey Evans and Buskin. She eventually signed a major label deal in partnership with Warner Bros. The song quickly taken up and played on radio by many DJs. Following her joining Warner Bros. Records, she started working with producer Adrian Gurvitz on her debut album "Cheers to the fall" (2015). The track "Rise Up" has become a massive anthem within social justice movements. Day received two Grammy nominations for the album including Best R&B Album. The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a concept-album that chronicles the legendary jazz artist's life, was released in the year the year 2019. She also starred in The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film about Holiday. Andi Mattichak was an American actor. She started her career on TV series like Orange Is the New Black, 666 Park Avenue and Blue Bloods. Her film debut was as Allyson in the horror series Halloween. Andi Matichak was an American actress born the 03rd of May, 1994. She was born in Framingham Massachusetts in the United States.
