Pickler lived in a difficult environment. The mother she had left when she was just two years old to avoid an abusive relationship. Pickler had her mother back within her family by the year 1995. They took care of Pickler. However it did not take place as expected. Pickler went back to her grandparents when she turned 12 years old. They helped them through adulthood. Pickler was unable to parent her children in their absence. Pickler said she was not able to devote time to study, she decided learning how to cook and clean from a very early time.
