Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American performer, actress and songwriter for several years. When she was a kid, Sara was racially taunted by American citizens of all races. Her confidence began to grow in the ninth grade when she entered a school audition. She received a lot of praise by the judges for her vocal ability. This not only increased the confidence of her, but also changed the direction of her career. In 1992 she graduated with her degree from New York's Julliard School. In the year 23 she made her debut at the Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films with You've Got Mail. The most notable achievement of her career was when she played The Lady of The Lake as Spamalot's first Broadway production. In addition to being the only actress to get the Tony Award, but her performance was also highly praised by reviewers. Her fame grew by appearing on Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. As a well-known singer, she also released a single and an extended play. As an activist, she works tirelessly to promote LGBT equality.
